The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell conference is the largest and longest running hydrogen gathering in the UK. Entering its 19th year, the conference this year was delivered in partnership with Hydrogen UK, the UK’s leading hydrogen industry association. The conference showcased the latest developments in hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and projects both in the UK but also internationally. Sessions will focus on production, distribution and end use of hydrogen as well as discussions on how regional and international collaboration can support the emerging hydrogen sector.
Having experienced significant growth in recent years, welcoming over 500 delegates in 2022, the conference moved to a new venue which can better accommodate this rapidly growing event. The new home of the conference, National Motorcycle Museum, is a prestigious venue in the West Midlands that enabled us to support a larger exhibition space including more vehicle showcase space, a larger conference hall and better networking spaces.
Why partner with the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell conference
With the new partnership between the conference and Hydrogen UK, this year promises to be bigger and better than ever. With a projected attendance of over 700 delegates, conference partners will benefit from significant brand exposure to industry leaders across the UK and beyond. We have developed a range of partnership options. See Details of Sponsorship Options on the Sponsorship TAB below
Exhibitors
As we have extended the exhibition space we are pleased to offer an increased range of opportunities for exhibitors especially those who might wish to take a larger space.
We are for the first time offering different sizes of stand with the opportunity to take a small, medium and large space. See further details on the Exhibitors TAB below

Plus Zero Green Genset
SMALL GENERATOR ENGINE HYDROGEN CONVERSION
Air quality is an urgent public health issue, so reducing noxious emissions (including carbon dioxide and particulates) is a key aim for engineers, policy makers and regulators alike. Our aim was to see if we could achieve zero (NOX, CO2) emissions using a GX single cylinder generator. Typically, these engines emit up to 9.45kg of CO2e an hour.
After a program of engine modifications and data logging, we deployed a correct stoichiometric ratio calculated by the PlusZero Power team. This ratio was devised after undertaking a series of dynamometer tests on other engines over 18 months.
We succeeded in lowering emissions on this GX single cylinder generator engine to less than 6ppm NOX and zero CO2. This represents a key step in reducing emissions and decarbonising small engine equipment, with beneficial implications for the entire market.
Through further hardware selection, we now offer a deployable unit range covering the 5-7 kVA sector – usually the exclusive domain of fuel cells. Supplied as hydrogen-ready, these units will also operate on biogas or propane if hydrogen is unavailable, with no loss of power. This negates the need for diesel genset back-up.

TCP Ecolite-TH200, hydrogen fuel-cell mobile lighting tower
The TCP ECOLITE TH200 is a portable lighting tower which uses a chemical reaction to produce clean energy with water vapour as the only by-product. In a world first, it combines Hydrogen Hymera fuel-cell technology with low-energy LED light masts to provide carbon-free lighting at the point of delivery.
It is perfect in ecologically sensitive areas. Bottled hydrogen poses no ground spill risk, while silent operation, zero emissions at source and special low-impact lighting means that the lighting tower is compliant with Section 61.
With dusk-to-dawn auto switching as standard, it can run for up to 240 hours. Fitted with Prismatic Lens Technology lamps, it makes the most effective use of every lumen produced. Known light patterns provide better-quality, evenly spread light with no flicker and reduced glare. This also minimises light pollution, making the TCP ECOLITE TH200 perfect for the urban environment and to help meet net-zero targets.
Toyota Mirai
Toyota Hydrogen Fuel Cell
Emitting nothing but water from the tailpipe, our pioneering hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles have the potential to revolutionise the way we drive. After introducing the world’s first production hydrogen powered car in 2014, we’re taking emissions fuel cell technology to new heights with the second generation Mirai, a vision for cleaner mobility that’s on the road today.
The Next Step in Zero Tailpipe Emission Driving
Instead of being powered by electricity stored in a battery, hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles produce their electricity through a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen in a fuel cell stack. Refuelling their hydrogen tanks from a pump takes less than five minutes, and once on the road, you’ll enjoy smooth zero tailpipe emission journeys
Discover Mirai
The Mirai pushes the boundaries of hydrogen power. With an impressive driving range, it offers exceptional performance.
Logan Energy
A multi-functional unit that can deal with your compression needs. This trailer unit has been designed to be attached to a vehicle anywhere at any time. Its automated compressor ensures a vehicle, or cylinder, can be filled in one go with no attendance required. It was manufactured in 4 months showcasing a quick turnaround.
How does it work?
A supply of hydrogen is connected to the inlet of the unit, which can be an electrolyser, compressed hydrogen in cylinders or trailers, or other source. To fill a vehicle, the user connects the vehicle, presses a fill button, and then waits for it to be filled. To fill other systems, a similar process is followed but different connections are used. The unit has been designed to automatically fill three different pressures systems and base around filling cylinders or MCPs to 200barg using a hose connection, vehicles to 350barg using a standard nozzle, or 450barg cylinders
