‘Low carbon futureproofing in the age of Aquarius’

The transition to the Age of Aquarius, with us now, is not necessarily smooth or peaceful.    SHAP looks at 3 projects where the vision of a new future is being tested by hard real world challenges to understand how to futureproof communities.

Biography

Roles in policy and delivery, in public and private sector.  Championing the holistic, collaborative approach to tackling systemic failure in addressing climate change and developing flourishing communities where no one is left behind.  Principal roles currently are SHAP co-ordinator (www.shap.uk.com) coordinating regional partnerships on retrofit and fuel poverty and contributing to national retrofit activity; Warmer Homes ERDF compliance project manager at Connexus: The Warmer Homes ERDF project is investigating the use of PHPP modelling to determine a 30 year asset management investment plan and Honorary Research Fellow at  Keele University, School of Geography, Geology and the Environment.
