Jon Harman is the Technology Delivery Director at Ceres and is responsible for the delivery of the entire Technology Programme that spans across solid oxide fuel cell and electrolyser technologies. He joined Ceres in 2010 and has been responsible for pioneering a wide range of new technologies, such as Ceres’ 5kW-class fuel cell stack, SOFC vehicle range-extender systems and the first-of-a-kind SOEC demonstrator system.   Prior to joining Ceres, Jon worked on the development of nuclear fusion technologies and also spent 12 years in the civil aerospace sector. He is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers.

Title of Presentation

Ceres Solid Oxide Cell Technology: the bridge between Hydrogen, Heat and Power’

In collaboration with strategic partners, Ceres’ solid oxide cell technology is rapidly moving toward global mass manufacture as a key enabler of the future hydrogen energy system. Ceres’ unique technology provides one of the highest efficiency electrochemical “bridges” between molecules, electrons, and heat.
