Jérémie BERTRAND joined Cummins in November 2020 as Business Development Manager for the water electrolysis activities after the acquisition of Hydrogenics in 2019. Hydrogenics is a world-wide leading provider of hydrogen generation products (electrolyzers) for industrial, hydrogen fueling and energy storage applications. Hydrogenics has been implicated in the majority of the Power-to-Gas projects in Europe and is a reference manufacturer of alkaline and PEM electrolyzers worldwide, as well as PEM Fuel Cells.

Previously, he served in the Corporate Strategy department of Snam, the largest European Natural gas TSO (Transmission System Operator). Focusing on opportunities in the energy transition he contributed to the company’s strategic orientation towards Hydrogen pioneering the topic inside the company. Committed to green gases, he was an active member of the Gas for Climate consortium and the European Hydrogen Backbone initiative.

Jérémie began his career at WEHRLE Umwelt GmbH, a German company specialized in creating solutions for municipal solid waste and water treatment. There, he coordinated sales and marketing actions for the German and French-speaking regions and provided expertise on solid waste treatment in south east Asian cities.
