This provides a platform for integrating the low carbon, decentralised, intelligent and renewable energy objectives with the range of regeneration projects, including public property development i.e. local government, schools, hospitals, universities well as social housing.

Over the next period 2009 – 2012 £billions will be invested through these projects including refurbishment of existing building stock, private and public which should feature the inclusion of DE, IE and RE systems with ESCO’s assisted by renewable feed – in tariffs (up to 5 megawatt per project).
